Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
PRESprep is an independent study resource for the Irish Medical Council's PRES examination. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and how we handle it. We are the data controller for that information.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you choose to join our early-access list. That is the only personal detail we ask for.
- Anonymous usage statistics (such as page views), collected via Cloudflare Web Analytics. This is cookieless, does not track you across sites, and does not identify you as an individual.
Why we collect it, and our legal basis
We collect your email address on the basis of your consent, given when you submit the sign-up form, so that we can tell you when PRESprep launches. We use anonymous analytics under our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.
How we use your email
We use your email address only to let you know when PRESprep is available, and occasionally to share directly related updates. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties. We will not add you to unrelated marketing.
Where it is stored
Sign-ups are stored securely with our hosting provider, Netlify. No separate email-marketing tool is connected at this stage.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you ask us to remove it, or until it is no longer needed for the purpose above.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict its use. To exercise any of these, or to be removed from the list at any time, email hello@presprep.ie. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
Cookies
This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Our analytics is cookieless.
Changes
We may update this policy as PRESprep develops. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
